In the endoscopy unit, the operation is performed in a state similar to deep sleep, which we call light sedation, accompanied by the anesthesiologist. The patient does not feel any pain, swelling or cramps. After the procedure is over and the patient wakes up, he doesn’t remember anything. The patient can go home about an hour after the procedure ends. After about 4 hours, he is back to his normal life completely.

Gastric Botox procedure takes 15-20 minutes on average.
What should be considered after gastric injection?
You can start taking drinks after stomach botox after two hours.
You should limit the consumption of soda, carbohydrates, juices and alcohol.
You should consume the types of food that the dietitian deems appropriate for you in the required quantity.
Smoking does not have any positive or negative effect on stomach botox, but smoking is not recommended.
It is not recommended to drink coffee in the first 3 days after the operation.
